November Art Film: Michelangelo: Artist and Man

On Tuesday, November 14, at 2:30 pm in the Conference Room, The Villages Arts and Crafts Association will present “Michelangelo: Artist and Man”  Although we think of him in terms of his fabulous sculptures, many of us wonder why he was given the commission to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.   This took four years to complete amidst the power politics and person rivalries that existed in Rome at this time. Come and learn more about this extraordinary artist.  You will be amazed.

This is a 50 minute film and is free for all Villagers and their guests.
