"SUMER IS ICUMEN IN" is the theme for Art Challenge 27 which runs from June 1 - June 30.
Let us see your paintings and fine crafts which include SUMMER, from the old English folk song "Sumer is icumen in, Lud sing Cuckoo, Lud sing Cuckoo." These art works can be any thing in the world of art which you have created at any time, present and past which feature, in large or in small - Summer: anything which evokes this wonderful season - beautiful scenery, the ocean, landscapes, scenery, people, trees, abstractions, knitted goods ..... We welcome other mediums as well: assemblage, collage, ceramics, needle art, fine art photographs, drawings, poetry.
Many people voted to keep the Art Challenges going because these on-line exhibits of art works are easier to view that our exhibits in Cribari Conference Room which is often locked, and also so many more people can participate! We do have an in-person exhibit on display in the Cribari Conference Room: A Solo Show of Doug Canepa's oils and watercolors, which will be up until July 22. If you would like to be considered for a solo show, send a message to our Exhibits Chair at barb.gottesman@gmail.com
Please use our in-place rules and submit nothing religious, political, nude or anything that may offend others. The more uplifting, the better. No family or pet photos, please.
Send the photo of your art work or craft to our Webmaster at barb.gottesman@gmail.com
Colleen suggested that we welcome appreciative comments to be posted about the entries. Appreciative comments are welcomed by each artist, but especially the beginners who need both appreciation and encouragement. Send your comments on the art displayed for June to our Webmaster at barb.gottesman@gmail.com
If you are interested in purchasing any of the exhibited art works, please call the artist. All artists are in the phone book.
ALL VILLAGERS are welcome to submit photos of their art or fine crafts
to these ART CHALLENGE on-line EXHIBITS.
