ROOM ORGANIZER: Carol Norden: Carol was out sick.
Tere mentioned that she had seen firsthand someone move items (not just their own) in the boutique, and said “If Carol doesn’t like it, then she can move them back” This is unacceptable: and once again,
we need to make it clear that Carol is the only person who should be moving items around in the boutique.
Tere dressed the cart for Halloween, and has asked for more items to decorate in the boutique as of now, all the Halloween items are on the cart.
A comment was made about the rules/guidelines not being followed in regard to the number of items each member is allowed, and the additional shelf that was put up. Responded that this was being addressed accordingly, and the shelves were approved and are for use by everyone, as the room organizer sees fit.
Mary LeGrand; Please do not water her plants: as much as Mary appreciates the kind thought to do so, this can cause the plants to be over watered with many hands on the job, and it is important that she be the ONLY person to water them as they only need once a week.
SHOWCASE: Marilyn Murata: Marilyn was out. The showcase is finally on its feet again and nicely decorated with jewelry. Fall items will go in toward the end of the month. Apparently, the light doesn’t work, and so make sure maintenance are aware.
PUBLICITY: Betty and Tere: Tere is writing an article to focus on Halloween – which will come out on Friday 13th October.
VACA President: Monita Bowman
