Painting with Acrylics with Mishel
August 13, Saturday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Many students enjoyed Mishel's Palette Knife Workshops with Acrylics on March 12 , April 2, May 14 and July 9.
On August 13, Mishel will demonstrate brush work and palette knife work to complete "Hummingbird." The workshop will be in the Cribari Center Art Room from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Students should come at 8:15 am to be set up by 8:30 am when the class instruction begins.
This 4 hour class will focus on techniques in using painting with brushes and palette knife with full-bodied acrylic paint in order to create this hummingbird. This class is geared for the beginner and intermediate painter.
To register, call Barbara Gottesman at 408-531-9402 or barb.gottesman@gmail.com by August 1. Checks should be made out to Mishel Vanderten-Tennies for $25 and delivered to Barbara or placed in the Arts & Crafts Assoc. mailbox (across from the VMA Office in Cribari Center) with an envelope with Barbara's name on it. Barbara handles the paperwork; Mishel handles the art! A materials list is posted on this webpage and will be sent to all who register. Register by August 1.
If you are a non-resident, you must sign two Release of Liability forms and make out a second check for $10 to VACA for a Facilities Usage Fee.
