Copper Tooling with Ciel Duke

On Saturday, May 13, 2017,  10:00 am  - 12:30 pm, come join us to try your hand at Copper Tooling! Ciel Duke is the instructor,  and fun will be had.   Choose from Mayan, African, or Egyptian designs (templates provided) to create a bas-relief design on copper. You will use special, easy-to-use wooden tools to impress the design onto the copper, then slowly "work" the copper, adding design elements to enhance the basic design. When completed, you will antique the copper, affix it to a background, then mount it on an impressive frame, ready for wall or table display. This project is sure to "impress!”

If you want to see an impressive copper tooling piece, check out the Leaf plaque in the Clubhouse ladies room foyer.

$35: All materials included. Enrollment is limited to 12.
