Villages Arts & Crafts Association Annual Members Potluck coming in September!

VACA is delighted to invite members and prospective members to our annual potluck on Monday evening, September 26th.   It's a time to welcome new members, to renew friendships after our Summer hiatus, and to enjoy a creative evening !

Our theme this year is "It's in the Bag".  Members will create a centerpiece for their table from a "bag" of assorted organic materials assembled by the organizing committee (me, Barb G., Shanah, Joan F., Bill T., Rich B., Val S., Monita B. and Colleen M. )  Materials include (but are not limited to!) feathers, tiles, beads, bird nests, ribbon, fabric, buttons, wooden spools, wire, photos, foil, garlands, leis, and TP rolls.  Members are encouraged to bring  their own contributions for their creations as well.

Make sure to mark your calendar and invite your friends and guests for this wildly fun and creative event.

VACA 's annual potluck will be held on Monday evening, September 26th starting at 5:30 pm at Foothill Center.   It's a time to welcome new members, to renew friendships after our Summer hiatus, and to enjoy a creative evening !

Our theme this year is "It's in the Bag".  Members will create a centerpiece for their table from a "bag" of assorted organic materials .  Adhesives, tape, glue, scissors, etc. will be provided.  Members are encouraged to bring  their own contributions for their creations as well.

We'll start with a "meet and greet  reception" at 5:30 pm and enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers then, at 6pm we'll have a 45-minute "creative session,"  followed by 15 minutes to view the member creations.  The potluck will begin at 7:00 pm.  

Plan to bring a dish to share for 6-8 people and your favorite beverage.....we'll provide plates, napkins, flatware, cups, ice and coffee.   Please note couples should bring dishes to serve 12-16 people.

If your last name begins with A-E,  bring a dessert.  Names beginning with  F-K should bring salads or side dishes.  Names beginning with L-R should bring a main dish.  Names beginning with S-Z should bring appetizers.
