The Villages Arts & Crafts Association is pleased to announce the first, of what we hope will become a series, evening workshop:

A Mini-Mosaic Workshop with Nancy Meyer

Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 6:45 pm – 9:00 pm

Art Room, Cribari Center

If you're looking for a fun way to spend time with your friends and neighbors as you enjoy a relaxed, friendly and creative evening making a one-of-a-kind art piece this workshop is for you. No experience required….all you need to do is bring yourself!

At the workshop, you will choose a wooden substrate to create your Mini Mosaic masterpiece: a Butterfly, Dragonfly, Heart or Flower (about 5x5 inches). A wonderful selection of glass, beads, mirror, tile, shells and other unique objects to fill in your selected shape will be provided. Note: Attendees will not grout their mosaic heart at the mini workshop- a “how to grout” demonstration will be provided. Grout will be available for you to take home to finish on your own. Light refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to bring an 'adult beverage' of your choice!

Reservation with advance payment ($25) is required to secure your spot. This workshop is limited to 12 students. Places can be reserved by contacting Wendy Ledamun at (408) 274-4215. Checks should be made out to “Nancy J. Meyer” and placed in the Arts & Crafts mailbox directly across from the VMA Office in Cribari Center. Put the check in an envelope with Wendy's name on it.
