Painting with Acrylics with Mishel Vanderten on June 11 "Red Hibiscus"

Many students enjoyed Mishel's Palette Knife Workshops with Acrylics on March 12 , April 2  and May 14.

On June 11, Mishel will add brushes to her painting tools with the subject matter "Red Hibiscus." The workshop will be in the Cribari Center Art Room from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm. Students should come at 8:45 am to be set up by 9:00 am when the class begins.

This 3 hour class will focus on techniques in using painting with brushes and palette knife with full-bodied acrylic paint in order to create this red hibiscus.  The subject for July's workshop is a hummingbird, so students may begin to trace the bird in advance of the workshop.   This class is geared for the beginner and intermediate painter.

To register, call Barbara Gottesman at 408-531-9402 or barb.gottesman@gmail.com by June 5.  Checks should be made out to Mishel Vanderten-Tennies for $25 and delivered to Barbara or placed in the Arts & Crafts Assoc. mailbox (across from the VMA Office in Cribari Center) with an envelope with Barbara's name on it.  Barbara handles the paperwork; Mishel handles the art!  A materials list will be posted on this webpage and will be sent to all who register.   Register by June 5.
