Successful Portraits Workshops with Sandra Jones

Have you always wanted to try portrait painting, but were afraid it was too difficult?  Perhaps you have tried painting portraits, but the final result was less than what you wanted.  If so, it's probably because no one ever explained to you the fundamentals of Portraiture.

In this class you will learn the three basic building blocks of successful portrait painting: planes, shapes & values.   Join me as I discuss the common mistakes and misconceptions most students suffer when attempting portraits.  This workshop is an academic, hands-on study that explains the three basic pillars of successful anatomical painting to radically change the way you approach painting.  The workshop includes a short lecture, Q&A, and a hands-on charcoal study of the human head.

Included in the workshop fee are the materials: a sheet of illustration board, charcoal tools, eraser, and a full-color, step-by-step handout that you can take home.
